The Outline of SIGNIFICENT DOUNTS~~~~

I.Overview
Dounts are formed either by joining the ends of a long,skinny piece of dough into a ring or by using a doughnut cutter, which simultaneously cuts the outside and inside shape, leaving a dount-shaped piece of dough and a dount hole from dough removed from the center.
II.Background
It is said that dounts were introduced into North America by Dutch settlers, who were responsible for popularizing other American desserts.
III.Dount holes
Ring dounts are not made by cutting out the central portion of the cake but by dropping a ring of dough into hot oil from a specially shaped nozzle. However, soon after ring doughnuts became popular, doughnut sellers began to see the opportunity to market "holes" as if they were the portions cut out to make the ring.
V.Symbol
For the time being, the dounts have symbolized the typical American life style: convenient, fast and easy-making.
IV.Influences
Nowadays,the dount has made an appearance in popular culture, particularly in the United States.It is also well accepted by everyone. Dounts represent the fast food as well, such as the KFC,McDonald's and PIZZAHUT etc. Those all have become the essential part of America.
